SENAM SEHAT DAN PENYULUHAN HIPERTENSI SEBAGAI UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KESADARAN MASYARAKAT TERHADAP PENCEGAHAN DAN PENGENDALIAN TEKANAN DARAH DI DESA SAMBILAWANG, KECAMATAN WARINGIN KURUNG, KABUPATEN SERANG

Abstract

This community service activity was conducted in Sambilawang Village, Waringinkurung District, Serang Regency, through a combination of healthy exercise and hypertension education. The program aimed to strengthen community awareness of hypertension, encourage regular physical activity, and promote routine blood pressure checks. Activities included group exercise, health education, discussion, and descriptive evaluation based on participant involvement. The material covered hypertension, risk factors, complications, physical activity, healthy eating, salt reduction, smoking cessation, stress management, and blood pressure monitoring. The activity was conducted in an active and informal atmosphere. Since no pre-test/post-test or before-after blood pressure data were available, the outcomes are presented descriptively rather than as statistical changes.
