PENGABDIAN KEPADA MASYRAKAT MELALUI PENGECEKAN KESEHATAN GRATIS DI DESA JUNTI KABUPATEN SERANG

Abstrak

Degenerative diseases are worsening health conditions in countries around the world. Due to busy daily routines, many people often neglect their health and do not undergo regular check-ups. This community service activity was carried out in Junti Village, Jawilan Subdistrict. The health screenings conducted included blood pressure checks and blood sugar tests. A total of 16 participants took part in the health checks. The aim of this activity was to monitor the health of the elderly and quickly identify any non-communicable diseases they may have. The method used to address these health issues was to provide free health screenings. The examinations conducted included blood pressure checks, weight and height measurements, and blood sugar tests. Based on the examination results, the majority (75%) of participants had normal blood pressure (below 140/90 mmHg). The blood sugar test results showed that 100% of the participants had blood sugar levels within the normal range (fasting blood sugar below 200 mg/dL). The free health check-up activity has helped in the early detection of participants' health, ensuring their blood pressure and blood sugar levels remain within normal limits.
